Emily's session was at The Wright House, a garden reception center in Mesa. According to its website, the house was built in the 1930s and opened as a reception center in July 1991 (The Wright House (opens in a new tab), checked on November 7, 2026).

Its gardens and trees give green backdrops for portraits in a gown and for family photos. In December the Arizona sun sets early, so that time of year we schedule sessions in mid-afternoon to keep the light.
