Photos and Film for Weddings in Mesa, From One Team
IAZ Photo Studio covers your Mesa wedding with photography and video from one team, from getting ready to the last dance. Our wedding photographer and videographer packages in Mesa, AZ, are $2,150, $3,250 or $4,995 for 8, 10 or 12 continuous hours, and all three include your couple session.
We work in English and Spanish, with more than 500 events since 2004. If you want a wedding photographer in Mesa who also handles the video, here is what we cover and how we plan it.

What Your Mesa Wedding Photo and Video Coverage Includes, From Getting Ready to the Reception
We cover each part of your wedding in the order it happens, inside the continuous hours of your package.
Getting Ready Before the Wedding, for the Bride and the Groom
Getting ready is where we photograph and film the dress, the suit, the rings, the invitation and the final touches with your family.
If the bride and groom get ready in different places at the same time, you need a second crew member, added as an extra. If you get ready at different times, the same team moves from one place to the other.

A Civil Ceremony on Your Wedding Day
If your civil ceremony is on the wedding day, we cover the signing, your witnesses and family photos right after. If it is on another day, tell us when you check your date and we will tell you how to cover it.
Your Religious or Symbolic Wedding Ceremony
We cover your Mass, a ceremony at another church, or a symbolic ceremony in a garden or at your venue. Before it starts, the photographer and the videographer agree on where each one stands, so they never block each other or distract you. If your church has rules for photographers, ask early and let us know: we follow them.

The Reception: Grand Entrance, First Dance, Cake and Party
At the reception we cover your entrance, the first dance, the toasts, the cake, the parent dances and the party with your guests. The video tells the story of the night, and the photos keep your family and friends in it.

How We Plan Your Wedding Photos and Video: Timeline, Must-Have List and Light
We plan your wedding around three things: your timeline, your list of must-have photos and the daylight.
Your Timeline, One Month Before the Wedding
We ask for your timeline one month before the wedding, and for any later change in writing. Your hours run continuously from the start time: travel between the church, the portrait location and the venue, plus any waiting, counts toward your hours. That is why a little breathing room between each part helps.
Your List of Photos You Can't Miss
Your priority list tells us which photos matter most to you: family groups, grandparents, your sponsors, relatives flying in from far away. With that list in hand, nobody gets missed, even when the timeline shifts.
Arizona Light and the Right Time for Your Couple Portraits
In Arizona, midday sun is harsh, and the softest light comes in the last hour of the afternoon. When your timeline allows, we save your couple portraits for that hour, even if it is just twenty minutes between the ceremony and the reception.
Why One Team for Wedding Photos and Video Makes Your Day Easier
With one team, your photos and video share the same light, the same color and the same moments, and you coordinate everything with one person. You also sign one contract with one payment plan.

Your Couple Session Comes With Every Wedding Package
Every wedding package includes a one-hour pre-event photo session, held at least 2 weeks before the wedding: your engagement or couple session. Those photos work for your announcement, your invitation or a welcome sign at the reception.
If you haven't booked your wedding yet, or you want a longer session, see our engagement photo sessions, booked on their own.

Where IAZ Photo Studio Began: a Mesa Wedding
Our first wedding was in Mesa. Cristobal ran a print shop in Phoenix, and a mother ordering invitations for her daughter's wedding asked him if he knew anyone for photo and video. Cristobal and Sonia said yes and covered it together, photo and video, at a reception hall in Mesa.
That wedding led to another referral, and the studio was born, founded in 2004 as Mi Foto Evento. Years later we opened a studio in Mesa, and later still we took the name IAZ Photo Studio. Cristobal tells the story of that first wedding in the book he is writing, El fotógrafo que no quería ser.
Travel to Your Mesa Wedding: No Fee Within 50 Miles of Tempe
There is no travel fee within 50 driving miles of Tempe, Arizona (I-10 and US-60), and all of Mesa is inside that range. Beyond it, travel is quoted on the full driving distance and agreed in writing before the date.
Frequently Asked Questions About Mesa Wedding Photography and Video
How much does wedding photography and video cost in Mesa?
It costs $2,150 with the Essential Package (8 hours), $3,250 with the Complete Package (10 hours) and $4,995 with the Deluxe Package (12 hours). All three include a photographer, a videographer and the pre-event photo session. You hold your date with $500 and pay in full one month before the wedding.
How many hours of coverage do I need for my wedding?
If you want getting ready, the ceremony and the reception in full, 10 hours give you the whole day with room to spare. With 8 hours, it helps to start later or keep the ceremony and reception close together. Your hours are continuous and include travel and waiting time.
Can you cover a civil and a religious ceremony on the same day?
Yes, as long as both fit inside your continuous hours. Your timeline shows us how much time sits between them and whether an extra hour makes sense.
What is the couple session included in the package?
It is a one-hour photo session before the wedding, included in all three packages. We plan it around the daylight, ideally in the last hour of the afternoon.
When will I get my wedding photos and video?
You have 4 weeks after the wedding to choose your photos. From the day you choose them, delivery usually takes 4 to 8 weeks for photo and video, or 2 to 4 weeks if you booked photography only. Your contract sets the final terms.
Do you work with couples who speak English and Spanish?
Yes. We work in English and Spanish from the first call to the delivery, and we cover ceremonies in either language or in both.
